Student CV template
For students and recent graduates with little work experience, so education and projects come first.

Download the Word file
Also as: PDF, 43 KB
What’s included
- Education first, with space for relevant courses and grades
- Projects, part-time work and volunteering sections
- One page, one column – easy for recruiting software to read
- Word (.docx) to edit and a PDF to see the layout
What to write when you have little experience
Projects from your course, part-time jobs, volunteering and clubs all count. For each one, write what you did and what it shows: reliability, team work, a practical skill.
Keep it to one page. A short, tidy CV says more than a long one filled with everything.
How to use it
- Download the Word file and open it in Word, Google Docs, Pages or LibreOffice.
- Replace every [text in brackets]. Delete sections you don’t need.
- Use words from the job ad in your summary and bullet points.
- Save as PDF before you send it, unless the job ad asks for Word.
