About freetemplates.app

What this site is

freetemplates.app has 16 free templates in four sections: CVs, PowerPoint decks, business documents and simple HTML websites. We would rather have a few templates that work well than hundreds that don’t.

Every file you can download here was made for this site and checked before it went up: the documents open in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the PDFs print on one page, and the website templates work on a phone.

Free, and free to use

There is no sign-up, no watermark and no paywall. All templates are released under CC0 1.0: you can change them and use them for anything, including work for clients, without credit.

Partner links (advertising)

Some template pages also suggest another site, for example an online CV builder or a design tool. Those links are advertising. They are marked “Ad” and “Partner link”, and they carry rel="sponsored" so search engines know too.

If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partners we may link to: Zety, Resume.io, Novoresume, Kickresume, Canva, Slidesgo. Partner links never decide which templates we make or how we describe them, and our own templates stay free.
