Tips for a nursing CV
Write your licence or registration exactly as the employer asks for it, and add the year of each life-support or specialist course.
For each job, name the ward or unit, the kind of patients and the systems or procedures you use every day. Those are the words a hiring manager searches for.
How to use it
- Download the Word file and open it in Word, Google Docs, Pages or LibreOffice.
- Replace every [text in brackets]. Delete sections you don’t need.
- Use words from the job ad in your summary and bullet points.
- Save as PDF before you send it, unless the job ad asks for Word.
